Laid Back Intimate Wedding

Erick and Emily reaching out and asking me to shoot their intimate, laid back wedding was the stuff of childhood dreams. I'd grown up with Erick, his dad pastored the church my family attended. The two of us, along with my brother and his passel of cousins, got in enough shenanigans to make my teenage years more than memorable.

Emily I had met at that same church a few years later. We have daughters close in age and I always thought she was just so beautiful. Seeing the two of them get together made so much sense in my head and I was delighted to watch their relationship unfold over Facebook.

Having them reach out to me and ask me to capture their day was such an emotional thing for me. It's such a huge honour to get to not only be in attendance as they pledge their love and lives to each other but to be trusted with documenting it. Tears! I am so thankful that they thought of me and that I got to spend the day with them and their families. 

They truly were the MOST laid back couple I have ever met. It made my over analytical, over planning brain break out in hives but you know what? The day was absolutely perfect. Everything flowed effortlessly and it was such a great representation of the two of them. 

I am so excited to continue watching their family adventure and blossom as they take on life together. I'm so thankful that they trusted me and gave me the opportunity to witness such powerful love and such a special day.
